DESCRIPTION

The City Tour is an inexpensive half-day service (4 hours) that covers the main tourist attractions of the city of Cusco: Coricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. The tour includes full minivan transportation and tour guide service. Does not include the Cusco Tourist Ticket that can be purchased on the same day of the tour. The start is at 7 am in the afternoon with the pick up of the tourist at the door of his hotel. Then they are visited in order: the Coricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. The tour ends at 1 pm in the afternoon at your hotel or in a central city square.

Inca temple of Coricancha

MAP AND ITINERARY

The tour begins with the pick up of the tourist at the door of his hotel between 7 am and 7.30 am in the afternoon. After a short trip, we visit the Coricancha temple, the most important in the entire Inca empire. Next, there is a trip by minivan to the Sacsayhuaman fortress, a site famous for its immense stone walls. Then the transport will take us to Qenqo, an Inca site famous for its underground constructions. The next destination is Pucapucara, where the Inca troops stopped to rest. This ticket costs 70 soles for foreigners and 40 soles for Peruvians. It can be purchased the same day of the trip. Includes admission to four places: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. They are all on the outskirts of the city of Cusco. Children under 10 years enter free.
